Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex [Dive Active] Content Usage Policy |
||
| I originally wrote up a policy that was just as long, murky and meandersome as the Amazon river. I ditched it in favor of this simplified version, much like a small creek I saw in the park. Short, simple, and very clear. | ||
| If something falls under the jurisdiction of “You can use it”, that means you may only use it on your website, musical device, or on printed media, such as printing out a picture to slip in your binder’s clear cover. You may not claim ownership, creatively or physically, of any content from this website. Nor may you use anything from this website in any enterprise where you receive money. If you do use something, please drop Aero an email. | ||
| If something falls under the jurisdiction of “You cannot use it”, then you cannot use it. At all. Anywhere, anytime, for any purpose. Unless you beg for expressed emailed consent from Aero. | ||
| “You can use it” encompasses the following content: All individual rendered images, all screenshots taken directly from the GitS:SAC series, all images that don’t even belong to me in the first place(such as CD covers), all MP3, all synopses, all character bios. |
||
| “You cannot use it” encompasses the following: All shockwave files, all original-by-Aero images (usually has my name in the corner), all FAQs, this Content Usage Policy, any format from this website, all background images, and all clever metaphors. |
||
| If anything seems contradictory, then keep in mind that “You cannot use it” takes precedence over “You can use it”. And because bandwidth is more precious than gold, please don't direct link to content. | ||
| Well. I'm glad that's over. | ||
| But if you really feel like being bored to tears, don't hesitate to visit the Copyrights thing. | ||
